DC SERIES
High Energy Dance Club Systems
The DC Series loudspeakers are designed to handle the grueling techno-industrial dance environment. They are intentionally robust in the bottom end, using double the number of woofers in order to deliver the beat as a physical concussion. But Avalon is more than bass. Advanced transducers drive HF and MF sections to ensure vocals are crystal clear at the highest SPLs. All Avalon full range systems are designed to deliver their sound down toward the dance floor. The DC1 uses asymmetrical horns that provide a 20^ down-angle. The other models feature a cutaway rear corner so they can fire down from positions close to the ceiling.

Features
of the DCS2: The DCS2 bent horn subwoofer is
engineered for use in permanent installations. The system loads two 12 in
woofers on an advanced bent bass horn to provide very high levels of sub
bass reinforcement for high energy dance clubs. The properly designed bass
horn matches path length to cone area and maximizes driver efficiency to
the level required for modern dance clubs. The heavy duty 12 in woofers provide
a better engine for compact horn-loading than traditional 18 in bass
bins. |

Features
of the DCT1: The DCT1 is engineered for use
in permanent installations. The system mounts four 1.33 in exit compression
tweeters in an inverted pyramid enclosure. The driver, phase plug assemblies
are engineered to minimize beaming of soundwaves with the smallest wavelengths,
particularly in the horizontal plane. |

Features
of the DCT2: The DCT2 is engineered for use
in permanent installations. The system mounts three 1.33 in exit compression
tweeters in a wide-angled enclosure. The driver, phase plug assemblies are
engineered to minimize beaming of soundwaves with the smallest wavelengths,
particularly in the horizontal plane. |
