The BSS DPR-901II Dynamic equalizer is a four-band parametric Dynamic equalizer which allows frequency selective compression (-30dB) and expansion (+16dB). Each band has a frequency sweep, a bell width, an IN/OUT switch, compress/expand metering, threshold metering and time constants which are automatically controlled by dynamic and harmonic content of signal with selectable FAST RELEASE. It has a filter switch on bands 1 & 4 which changes bell filter response to a shelving response and on bands 2 & 3 cancels the filter for wide band operation. The unit may be set up as a 1 input / 4 band or 2 input / 2 bands per channel device, and the filter side chain may be monitored to allow precise tuning of the audio spectrum to be effected. The BSS DPR-901II also has electronically balanced inputs and outputs.

The BSS FCS-960 is a 30 band dual channel graphic equalizer featuring Dual Mode switching between Normal and Fine filter width settings on each channel 3U high. The BSS FCS-930 has constant Q-filters with filter-bypass centre taps which are controlled by high grade 45mm faders with moulded polymer fader knobs which eliminate visual parallax error even under low light conditions. Also included are sweepable/switchable Hi-pass filter, Gain control and electronic balanced inputs and outputs. Options include a 3U Security cover and Input and Output balancing transformers.

The BSS FCS-966 Opal Series constant Q graphic equalizer has separate LF and HF contour filters which can change the overall sound balance without disturbing the critical fader settings that give the detailed room or loudspeaker response. Each EQ fader has +/-15dB of adjustable gain and the faders are long-throw 45mm types for precision control. Also provided on the FCS-966 is a sweepable high-pass filter which can be used very effectively to restrict the low energy output for better amplifier and loudspeaker performance. The BSS FCS-966's 8-segment LED meter shows output level and warns of signal clipping within the EQ. When any EQ fader is in its centre detent position the filter is automatically bypassed for optimum performance. All inputs and outputs are electronically balanced with optional transformer balancing.
