The BP-1 portable headset station may be worn on the belt or hung on the wall by its sturdy belt-clip. Soft plastic strips on the underside help hold it in place when set on top of a console. The matte black finish minimizes visibility. Frequency response has been carefully shaped to optimize both intelligibility and long-term listening comfort. A microphone limiter circuit reduces overload distortion. The high bridging impedance ensures that system and sidetone levels do not vary as other stations are switched in and out of the circuit. The top panel contains controls for switching the microphone on and off, for controlling listening level, and for signaling. They are easily identifiable by touch. A recessed, screwdriver-adjust control is provided for varying the level of the user’s voice to be heard in his own earphone (Sidetone). A long-life, extremely bright, 4-segment LED serves as the signal light. |

On/Off but on are shaped differently for easy recognition by touch, in the dark. Two LEDs are mounted, one to indicate signaling (red, bright) and one (green, low output) to indicate that the microphone is On. The BP.15 is available with an optional vibrator in addition to the standard signal LED. The volume control is a thumbwheel, again reducing the likelihood of accidental damage. |

The BP-1S/L replaces the BP-1S. It is a single circuit belt pack with a front panel switch permitting communication with circuit “A” or Circuit “B”, but not both. The improvement is the addition of a second signal light. Now signals on the unselected circuit are monitored as well as those on the selected circuit. Each of the 3-pin XLR connectors on the rear panel is used for connection to a separate circuit. Therefore, loop-through requires the use of a pair of Y-cables or a pair of SB-1 Splitter/Isolator boxes. |

The BP-2 or BP-2B portable headset station may be worn on the belt or hung on the wall by its sturdy belt-clip. Soft plastic strips on the underside help hold it in place when set on top of a console. The matte black finish minimizes visibility. Both are true 2-circuit units, permitting the user to talk and/or listen to either or both circuits simultaneously. Separate controls are provided for each circuit. The BP-2 mixes the incoming audio from both circuits to one earspeaker of a single-muff headset or both earspeakers of a dual-muff headset (4-pin headset connector). The BP-2B supplies separate audio from each circuit to each earspeaker of a dual-muff headset (5-pin headset connector). Binaural. |

| LS-2 SERIES | |||||||||||||||||||||
|
|
The LS-2 Listening Station is a receive-only component intended to provide paging functions to your Production Intercom system without having to install a separate paging amplifier and speakers. It contains its own amplifier and speaker and is powered from the intercom power supply. Typical applications would include dressing rooms, green rooms and box offices. When mounted in its extremely rugged metal back box, it connects to the intercom system through a three-pin XLR just like any other station. The box can be used ‘tabletop’ or mounted on the wall using rear panel key-shaped holes. When flush mounted in a 6-gang electrical box, connection is via a plug-in terminal strip. The plug-in strip for the wire end is provided. The LS-2 has an override feature that permits the operator of any station equipped with the OG904 Override generator module to switch the LS-2 to its preset override status, either raising or lowering the volume. The station with the override generator is typically a master or sub-master station but one can also be installed in a BP-1 Beltpack, an HS-1 Headset Station or an LS-3 Talk back Loud-speaker Station. |

| LS-3 SERIES | |||||||||||||||||||||
|
|
LS-3 series Talkback Loudspeaker Stations operate in three different modes: 1) Press-to-talk/release-to-listen, using the loudspeaker as both microphone and speaker; 2) Simultaneous talk and listen [full duplex] when an LSM-1 gooseneck microphone is plugged into the front panel, and; 3) As a headset or handset station when either is plugged into the front panel XLR. Modes 2 and 3 are invoked automatically when the unit senses the presence of the microphone, headset, or handset. No switching is required. |

| HANDSETS | |||||||||||||||||||||
| HH10/A AND HH10/B | |||||||||||||||||||||
|
|
These U.S.
made handsets are identical to those used on coin telephones, with
transducers suitable for intercom use. To help prevent feedback between
the earspeaker and microphone, an airtight sound barrier is applied to
the otherwise hollow handset at both ends. As a result the operator can
use extremely high levels before feedback. |

Exceptionally high quality transducers provide wide smooth frequency response, reducing the onset of ‘ear fatigue’ for those who must spend many hours wearing headsets. Deep, comfortable ear cushions have excellent external noise exclusion characteristics, and are washable with ordinary dish washing detergent. At 7.35 oz. the SMH210, and at 8.75oz the DMH220, are much lighter than their appearances suggest. The noise-canceling microphone is mounted on a flexible, steel reinforced boom which can be easily twisted into a comfortable position. The flexible headband is adjustable. The normal transducer configuration for use with Production Intercom and compatible headset intercom systems are 400 ohm earspeakers and a 200 ohm dynamic microphone. Electret microphones and lower impedance earspeakers for other applications are also available, and combinations of these transducers make up the various models. For use with Production Intercom and most headset communications systems the SMH210 and DMH220 are fitted with a 4-pin female XLR-type plug. For other applications many different plugs are available. |

These light, comfortable headsets are equipped with high quality transducers for smooth response and pleasant listening. The soft, textured muffs are removable and washable. The mechanism for adjusting size allows for a wide range and is both simple and sturdy. The microphone is mounted on a thin flexible gooseneck boom which also swivels at the ear cup and can be swung up and out of the way. This boom also allows the microphone to be adjusted very close to the mouth for situations where quiet or discrete communications are important. The thin, flexible cable does not tug on the headset and may be clipped out of the way with our optional clothing clip. The SMH310 and DMH320 are plug-in compatible with Clear-Com® and most other popular headset communications systems. |

The SMH710 is a light weight version of the SMH310. The construction, though smaller, is very similar. At 3.88 oz. (0.11kg) it is among the lightest headsets suitable for intercom that is available, and far more comfortable than the most commonly available light weights. Because it has a dynamic microphone, it is suitable for all intercom stations, old and new. The microphone arm is a flexible gooseneck and has a swivel mount, permitting a wide range of positioning. The headset comes with a foam microphone pop filter The SMH710 is for left side use only. |

Exceptionally high quality transducers provide wide, smooth frequency response, reducing the onset of ear fatigue for those who must spend many hours wearing headsets. Deep, comfortable ear cushions have excellent external noise exclusion characteristics, and are washable with ordinary dish washing detergent. At 10.8oz (.306kg), including the cable and XLR, the SMH910 is much lighter than its appearance suggests. Even the dual-muff version, DMH920, weighs in at only 15.3oz ( .435kg). The noise-canceling microphone is mounted on a flexible, steel reinforced boom which can be bent for optimum positioning. The boom swings up out of the way when required and shuts the microphone off at the top of the swing. The boom can be reversed for use on the right side. The flexible head band is adjustable. The normal transducer configuration for use with Production Intercom and compatible headset intercom systems is 400 ohm earspeaker(s) and a 200 ohm dynamic microphone |

The DMH9000, with its low visual profile, was specifically designed with broadcast and studio applications in mind. Special attention has been given to acoustical and electrical isolation of the microphone from the earspeakers to minimize the incidence of cross-talk. The symmetrical hypercardioid studio quality condenser microphone was expressly developed for near-field use and combines excellent noise rejecting abilities with a wide, smooth frequency response. The near-field characteristics of the microphone capsule provide good noise rejection without having it so close to the mouth as to obscure the wearers face. The microphone is balanced and requires phantom power 12~48V. The microphone boom can be positioned on the left or right side and swings up and out of the way past a series of detents. As the boom is raised a gold plated micro switch turns the microphone noiselessly off. The earspeakers have a specially contoured and wide bandwidth in combination with high sensitivity. The DMH9000 can be fitted with cable and plugs for almost any professional application including broadcast, audio console, recording console and computer. |

| DMH948ACS HEADSET | |||||||||||||||||||||
|
The DMH 948 ACS headset begins with
the proven and time-tested construction of the DMH920 communications
headset. From that headset the DMH 948 ACS inherits its durability,
lightweight comfort, concealed wiring, adjustable head bow, and
trimness of design. In all other ways the 948 has been designed from
scratch for broadcast applications. |
