Features of the Rapco/Horizon DB1 Passive Direct Box: Simple design offers reliable input jacks as well as a loop-through 1/4" jack. Plug any instrument level signal (and some line level) into the Straightline, interface with a standard XLR mic cable into the Lo-Z output and you're ready to plug the output "directly" into the mixing console. A ground lift switch is provided for buzz-free operation in almost any environment. |

|
Features of the Rapco/Horizon SL2 Passive Direct Box: The SL-2 Straightline-2 has every feature that our SL-1 Passive Direct Box offers plus a -20db pad switch so you can plug any instrument or most "hotter" line level sources into it. If the signal that the mixer console receives is overridden, simply flip the -20db pad switch and it will filter the input signal down to a better level. Both the SL-1 and the SL-2 are built in an 18 gauge formed steel box. The connectors and switches are recessed to resist damage. |

Features of the Rapco/Horizon SPL1 Speaker Level Direct Box: The Speakerline Speaker Level Direct Box is a great way to get your instrument's amplifier sound into the mixing console (or any desired mic level input) without mic'ing it. This allows the pure punch and clarity of the amp to enter the console without the undesired effects of mic'ing (e.g. feedback or the bass drum bleeding into the microphone that's supposed to mic only your amp). To use it, simply plug the speaker output jack from the amplifier into the "amp in" jack of the Speakerline Box (must use speaker cable) and connect your speakers (with speaker cable) into the "amp out" jack (this must be done because your amp still needs to see a load from the speakers or it could damage the amplifier). Then plug a standard XLR mic cable into the Lo-Z output of the box to go to the snake or mixing console. It has a ground lift switch for buzz-free operation in almost any environment, 18 gauge steel housing and recessed connectors and switches to resist damage. |

| PRESS BOX | |||||||||
| PB8 | |||||||||
|
Features of the Horizon PB8 Press Box: The PB-8 Pressbox is perfect for press conferences or any situation requiring a single mic signal to be "split" multiple times. Its features include a rugged 18 gauge formed steel box, a single XLR female mic level source input, a "loop" output (to go to a mixing console to interface with an external Phantom Power Supply, or to "daisy chain" this unit to a second PB-8 for additional isolated outputs), and eight discreet isolated XLR male outputs (due to the D.C. blocking characteristics of a transformer, the isolated outputs will not pass phantom power). The connectors are recessed to resist damage. |

| MS1 | |||||||||
|
Features of the Rapco/Horizon MS1 Mic Splitter: The MS-1 Splitter Box is the answer for anyone needing to split a Lo-Z microphone signal (or similar source) into two outputs. Uses include live recording, on-stage monitoring, use at a press conference, videotaping of a lecture, or by using only the isolated output, it can work as an isolation transformer for long microphone lines feeding unbalanced inputs. Transformer isolation can help minimize interference from radio transmitters, lighting dimmers and 60Hz AC power wiring. Hookup requires inly standard XLR mic cables. It has an input, a direct output (allows Phantom power to pass), an isolated output to keep the outputs discreet from each other, a ground lift switch for buzz-free operation in almost any environment and an 18 gauge formed steel box. The connectors and switch are recessed to resist damage. |

| MS4 | |||||||||
|
Features of the Rapco/Horizon MS4 Mic/Line Splitter: Designed for use in both live and studio applications and any application requiring multiple mixes. This rugged single rack space unit is built with a cold rolled steel chassis for superior shielding (quiet) and durability (years of service). On the front panel, each channel on the MS-4 provides an XLR female input and isolated XLR male output (to keep each signal isolated from the other), a ground lift switch and a -20db pad switch (to cut back "hotter" line level signal if necessary). On the rear panel, each channel has an XLR input (your source can come in from front or back) as well as a "loop" output (non-isolated). The transformer isolation allows multiple splits without the undesirable effects of impedance drop or DC voltage leak between consoles or recording devices. This unit is like having four MS-1 splitters in a single rack space. Dimensions: 1 3/4" x 19" x 5". |
